Modification continues!
First you should measure the good height for the new lever that operates the lens lever. Remember to measure it from the plane of the lens's mount ring. Then measure and mark the correct height to the edge of LSC. After that, you should do some search to your bolt box and find proper bolt for the new lever to the LSC. I used 3mm bolt. Your bolt's screw thread should also be more than 15mm long that you can shorten it to the proper lenght.
When you have decided the size of the bolt, you can mark the center point of the hole to the LSC's edge. Drilling is the easy part, because the whole border of the LSC is aluminium. Now you should dismantle the mount ring, locking system etc from your LSC... it is easier to keep LSC clean from the drilling waste. ATTENTION! There is a very small spring in that locking mechanism, so don't lose it! Then it is time to do some drilling! First you should use little smaller drilling bit and then use little bigger one afterwards. Remember to drill smaller hole that your bolt is... it is quite hard to make screw threads to 3mm bolt if the hole is already 3mm. I drilled 2.5mm hole for the 3mm bolt. When you do the screw threads for the hole with hand tap, remember to take it back sometimes that the "waste" comes out... Tap this small is quite fragile and the real joy begins when you cut off your hand tap into that hole ,D Here is pictures of those screw thread tools -> Link

- Lens scope converter for Nikon G ready |
Finishing!
Now you just have to assemble your Lens scope converter for Nikon G, and determine correct lenght to the new bolt lever. Correct lenght of the bolt lever is quite exact... 1mm longer at it may not work with all lenses etc. I do not tell my bolt lenght becaouse it may not work with your lenses. So you should screw your bolt at different depths and test which works with your lenses... and that way to find correct lenght to your bolt. My first bolt worked really fine with Nikon AF-S 70-200/2.8 VR and Nikon AF-S 300/2.8 VR Nikkor, but it was too short to use it with teleconverters. Current bolt works fine with 70-200, 300 and teleconverters, but is little bit too long to use it with 24-70/2.8 nikkor. On the other hand, my 70-200/2.8 VR does not focus to the infinity @70mm so I think that 24-70/2.8 nikkor does not work either.
